Could this give serious competition to the Altima's, Maximas, Camry's and Accords? Lets find out. There is possibly no other sedan in the market that looks as good as this from the front. The redesigned charger always had an aggressive look, but the 2014 model goes further with vents and curves on the hood and sides that make it even meaner. Again a plus point for the car is the fantastic 3.6 l pentastar v6 engine found on other cars including the wrangler. It will pump out 292 horsepower giving you ample power on the road. This is one smooth engine, and you really never feel the engine making a fuss as you put your pedal down. Our base model's interior was nicely put together, and felt solid, No creaking, good soft touch materials and generally pretty well laid out. The gear box was our only whinge because there's no feel to the gear change and its quite easy to go to the wrong gear. There was a small touch screen giving us audio, phone and other controls, which worked well, but for the price, we expected more. The car drives like a dream on the road, and you'll feel plenty of power. The best part is the super quiet cabin, which almost ventures into luxury car quiet! It's a big car so there's ample headroom, and rear leg space is pretty decent, although the big hump in the middle, will make life uncomfortable for the unlucky middle passenger. While the Charger has a lot going for it, it has one major drawback. It's quite expensive compared to the competition. Our base model was Aed 109,000 and didn't include ANY parking sensors or tiptronic gears or HID headlamps.
