Civic's have always pushed the boundaries of design and offer exceptional value to their owners. The new refreshed 2014 Civic has a sharp, sleek exterior with thin front headlights and chrome on the front under the mesh grill. The hood is short and makes it look agile, while the on the side, the alloys are probably the best Civic has had. The rear looks more beefy, with a chrome bar connecting the tail lights. Civics in the UAE come with a 1.8 liter giving out 140 horsepower. The engine is now a CVT, and provides uniform acceleration through the gears. The suspension is a little but firmer, enough to corner confidently at high speeds, but still keeping passengers smiling. Honda quickly upped their game from their 2012 model, but revamping the interior with better materials. It works well, and inside the Civic everything seems tuned for the driver. The air con is built for the UAE and cools super fast, the speedometer is big, blue and electronic and with a dual level dash, and you get an additional screen on top for additional information. Seating is comfortable for 4 adults, even in the rear and getting in and out is pretty easy. The seats in the rear are slightly flat for longer journeys though. There's also more soundproofing for the dash, floor and doors and softer interior materials that help damp harsh sounds in the cabin making it very quiet inside and putting the Civic ahead of many of its rivals. The Civic is one of the best value compact sedans in the market. Yes, there is heat from the Koreans and American, but we feel the Civic is able to hold its own and provide great value to its owner.
