More than 500 private-owned luxury and super cars and motorcycles took to roads in Dubai on Friday for the Grand Parade as a section of the ongoing biennial Dubai International Motor Show. The total value of the vehicles took part in the parade is estimated reaching over 130 million U.S. dollars. Thousands of car fans were waiting along the 45 kilometers main road of the city where a spectacle created by engines of 76 Ferrari supercars, from the 80's to the latest model, roared when passing in a row. Brands and models that are rarely seen on streets were also involved in the extravaganza, including Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Maserati, McLaren, Bugatti Veyron, Harley Davidson and Ducati. The Dubai government also used supercars of Lamborghini, Bentley and Brabus as the police cars to lead the parade. The organizer said they are trying to spur Dubai's car market though the events.
