Dedicated booking-only Hala Taxi service launched in Dubai - Dubai

A dedicated batch of special vehicles will cater to passengers who have booked taxis either by phone or online in Dubai.The new service, named Hala Taxi, has been launched in association with Cars taxi and will provide 155 vehicles in the initial phase, beginning operations on November 1, RTA's Public Transport Day.The dedicated service of cars will relieve existing taxis from responding to the on-call service and will not cater to passengers at the roadside.Operated under the RTA's new Dispatcher 8 system, the Hala service will charge a basic fare of Dh 6 during the day and Dh10 at night.
