The Dubai Police now have 13 luxurious vehicles in their superfleet including a Mercedes SLS, BMW, an Aston Martin One-77 and a Bentley Continental GT. The car that first started the superfleet was a Lamborghini Aventador. A police spokesperson detailed the dual purpose of the car lineup stating "We looked at the reaction of the people and we discovered it was a good impact and good advertisement, so we decided to expand. We mostly use the cars in places that have lots of tourists, allowing them to take pictures. This is promoting the image of Dubai to the world." For those interested in the McLaren's key specifications, they include a carbon fiber chassis and a 3.8-litre V8, twin-turbo engine. As for the braking capabilities, the coupe can reportedly stop during exceptionally high speeds in under five seconds flat.
