Originally published on January 22, 2014 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A private helicopter crashed in Dubai's Palm Jumeirah on Wednesday (January 22), injuring the two people onboard. The helicopter took off from the Atlantis hotel and crashed just after take off. According to local reports, the two men on board were transported to Rashid hospital. One of the men is said to be in a critical condition, while the other was reported to have sustained only moderate injuries. Eyewitnesses reported seeing fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and helicopters rushing to the scene of the incident.
